FBI Under Fire: Explosive Questions Surround Trump Assassination Attempt Investigation

BREAKING

Fox New Host Maria Bartiromo had the opportunity during her Sunday show to inquire of the new FBI Director Kash Patel and his Deputy Dan Bongino whether there was some update of the FBI’s investigation into the shooting at Butler, PA. To say their response was less than enthusiastic is putting it lightly.

Patel advised that the investigation into the Butler assassination attempt on President Trump is ongoing and that he and Bongino have reviewed evidence and have been briefed by officials on the attack. Whoop-de-do! How bout you share that information with the American people?

When exactly does the Director of the FBI figure the American people will get to review the evidence in the case? When will the American people get to review the physical evidence, like the autopsy of the alleged shooter, Thomas Matthew Crooks, the DNA and fingerprint data and the complete ballistics reports on Crooks alleged weapon and the weapons of the Secret Service and Pennsylvania State police?

That Bongino went off on some weird tangent about how some Americans believe that there is some kind of international connection is completely irrelevant. It doesn’t matter what people think. Just complete the investigation and provide the evidence to support the FBI’s findings.

But, then Bongino adds an even weirder caveat explaining “I’m not going to tell people what they want to hear. I’m going to tell you the truth. And whether you like it or not is up to you.” What the hell does that mean? Nobody expected that he wouldn’t tell the truth and, if the FBI provides the physical evidence to support its conclusions, why would anyone have a problem with the “truth?” This isn’t Rocket science, but it is science. Just make the physical evidence available and let the public figure it out. Contrary to Congressman Kelly’s concerns, the public can stand seeing the autopsy photos and reading the details.

And there must be quite a lot of information to make public as Bongino assured Bartiromo that both he and Patel have been “briefed extensively on every single detail, nugget, tendril of this case…” Great! Now how about they share all that great information with the American people?

It seemed odd that neither Patel nor Bongino definitively stated that Crooks was the shooter, and Patel, not to be outdone by Bongino’s weird comments, throws in some cryptic clue that “all that information will come out in the federal court cases.” What federal court cases?  Bartiromo didn’t ask the follow up. Here’s the rub. In case Patel and Bongino are unaware, getting information from official sources is impossible. Are these two FBI honchos unaware of the useless Congressional Task Force investigation that provided no physical evidence to support its conclusions and, even worse, the Pennsylvania State Police Report is classified. Why? None of the conversation today on Bartiromo’s show made sense. Why are Patel and Bongino being so evasive? Just release the investigation and let the cards fall where they may. Anything short of full disclosure is a coverup and neither Bongino or Patel are living up to their promises of transparency.
